Emily Quiroz
Competitive Team Coach

Growing up in a country where soccer brings joy in the most opportune moments, I was captivated by the beautiful game. Since a young age soccer taught me how to overcome many things and build my character. My passion started in the neighborhoods of Honduras in which my weekends consisted of playing soccer all day with all my neighbors and ever since I was committed to respecting the game. This commitment is what allowed me to represent my national team (Honduras) in U-17 and U-20 level, win a high-school national championship and MVP 3x in a row. This success helped me receive a full scholarship to Bloomfield College from which I graduated Summa Cum Laude with a triple major in business, finance and economics while being the team captain.

After my playing career ended, I was blessed with the opportunity to help out as an assistant coach in Bloomfield College. I also coached girls ages six to sixteen in SA Soccer Virtuoso, which gave me the opportunity to develop players to reach their full potential. Coaching has taught me that I love to push and inspire players to be the best version of themselves they can be. I am excited to join Community First Soccer, to make an impact and inspire my players to become winners in life and enjoy the beautiful game.
